Exceedingly Popular Greenpoint Pop-Up Edith’s Is Here to Stay – Eater NY

The exceedingly popular Greenpoint pop-up Edith’s, which has been serving top-notch bagel sandwiches from inside neighborhood pizzeria Paulie Gee’s, has now been extended indefinitely, a spokesperson for the restaurant tells Eater.

Led by Elyssa Heller, who previously managed supply chain operations at places like Milk Bar and Dylan’s Candy Bar, the pop-up debuted in August. Meant to pay homage to the city’s classic Jewish delis, the Jewish-American fare at Edith’s includes bacon, egg, and cheese latke sandwiches, and a Paulie Gee’s pizza bagel, along with half a dozen kinds of bagels and cream cheese available as well. The pop-up was an instant hit with locals, and continues to sell out of its popular items regularly.

Edith’s was initially set to end this month, but has now been extended for the foreseeable future. Starting October 8, the pop-up will also be serving a fish bahn mi, as part of a collaboration with Greenpoint Vietnamese favorite Di An Di.
