At this Williamsburg sandwich shop’s new West Village location, six frozen drink machines swirl their popular slushie coffee—famously nutty with tahini. But the excellent cold brew drink isn’t the only reason to head there in the morning. Edith’s also has great breakfast sandwiches, including the Sephardi Wrap, which has flaky Yemeni malawach wrapped around cheesy eggs, a cumin-forward chicken sausage, and harissa mayo. Most of the sandwiches here successfully incorporate some element of Jewish cooking from around the world, like in a latke egg and cheese and or a pastrami chopped cheese.
